Children & families
Tolongo After School and the Cultural Center serve children year-round — drum, dance, language, and the philosophy that travels with them. Subsidized rates make the work reachable for the families who need them most.
Support Bi-Okoto
For thirty years, Bi-Okoto has engaged and bridged gaps with African culture in Cincinnati and beyond. Donations make this work continuous — across generations, schools, and stages.

Where Your Gift Goes
Tolongo After School and the Cultural Center serve children year-round — drum, dance, language, and the philosophy that travels with them. Subsidized rates make the work reachable for the families who need them most.
Ten-week residencies bring African cultural arts directly into classrooms, aligned with Cincinnati Public Schools standards. Donations help us keep partner-school fees accessible and underwrite the residencies that need extra support.
Okoto Kekere prepares the next generation of Bi-Okoto teaching artists, performers, and production professionals — from drumming and dance to instrument repair, stage management, and AV. Your support invests directly in that pipeline.
Othemoja, Irin Ajo, and Omo Wa carry Bi-Okoto's work to theaters, schools, and community spaces. Donations help underwrite tour costs that ticket sales alone don't cover.
Why Zeffy
Most donation platforms charge nonprofits 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction. On a $100 gift, that's roughly $3 lost to fees. Across thousands of donors, that adds up.
Zeffy is different. They're a Public Benefit Corporation that covers payment processing fees themselves and operates on optional donor tips — not on cuts of nonprofit donations. Every dollar you give to Bi-Okoto reaches Bi-Okoto.
When you donate, Zeffy may invite you to add an optional contribution to support their platform. That contribution is entirely up to you and is separate from your donation to Bi-Okoto.
